Our trackrides and races are intended for anyone who owns a road motorcycle in good technical condition and is interested in participating in the events we organize.
The events are also suitable for road motorcycles with a registration plate, and beginners. The type of road motorcycle does not matter, we also evaluate races for "naked" bikes - the NAKED class. You do not need a racing license to participate in the race - anyone can compete! But if you do not want to participate in the races, of course you do not have to, because one of our two-day rides is always without races.
For beginners or those who are on the circuit for the first time, we have free instructors available. It is no problem to ask anything or ride under the supervision of an experienced racer.
FREE INSTRUCTORS
During the trackrides, instructors are available to those interested, who will ride with the students free of charge and give advice.
Instructors are ready for 1-3 rides and it is necessary to reserve an instructor in advance!
Reservations start from 8:00 in the instructor's boxes on a first-come, first-served basis!!! So wait for them early in the morning.
The following instructors will be available on various dates:
Jiří Kadeřábek
David Datzer
Karel Táborský
Michal Filla
David Ouředníček
WHAT IS NEEDED
All you need to do is make a reservation and own a motorcycle in good technical condition.
The motorcycle can be either a circuit motorcycle or any road motorcycle with a registration plate. However, both types must meet our technical regulations. If you own such a motorcycle, all you need to do is make a reservation for the date you want, and pay according to the payment instructions. You can also pay on the registartion, but under standard price conditions. The earlier you register and pay, the greater the price discount you will receive.
At events, you can buy tires, change wheels (200 CZK per wheel), or buy basic spare parts.
YOU CAN RENT THE FOLLOWING FROM Michal Filla ON THE CIRCUIT:
HEATERS 500,- /day
STANDS 300,- /day
HOW THE CIRCUIT DAY LOOKS LIKE
7:00
Although the first rides usually start at 9:00, you need to arrive at the circuit much earlier. It is recommended at least at 7:30. You can also arrive the day before in the evening. The circuit has electrical connections and sanitary facilities with showers.
Once you arrive at the circuit, you can choose a suitable free space for the facilities, or you can pay for a place in the box at registration.
After unloading your motorcycle, you need to prepare your machine for the technical inspection, where we will check a few basic things such as the brake system, any oil leaks, etc. We will be happy to help you eliminate any minor defects, there is definitely nothing to worry about. The goal of the technical inspection is primarily your safety.
7:30 - 8:20
The first thing you need to do is register for the formal inspection, which takes place in one of the outer boxes. Here you will receive a timetable, a sticker with your performance group (don't lose this!!!), a sticker with your starting number, sign the registration papers and agree on other necessary information or instructions. All riders will start registering at a similar time and there may be a queue - so it is a good idea to arrive as soon as possible or the day before in the evening, when it is also possible to carry out the formal inspection. If you register online in advance, the formal inspection will be easier, faster and also cheaper.
Immediately after registration, you will pick up a transponder (a measuring device of the timekeeper that will measure your lap time), which will be issued to you against one personal document. We will tell you where it is at registration, but it is usually in the tower!
Then you need to visit the formal acceptance point again, where an authorized person from the agency will carry out a technical inspection of the machine. The inspected machine will be appropriately marked with a sticker.
Then all you have to do is stick the performance group stickers + starting number on the visible front of the motorcycle and attach the mandatory transponder to a suitable place. This is important mainly from a financial point of view, since the timekeeper charges €400 for the loss or destruction of the transponder. The transponder holder must be firmly fixed.
Then all you have to do is put on the tire warmers (if you have them), check the tire pressure and prepare everything for your first ride.
If you are interested in an instructor, you must visit the box marked as instructor point and book a ride, which is usually right next to the registration, where the instructors hang around their motorbikes.
Stands and heaters can also be rented for a fee.
Don't worry, we will be happy to help you with everything!
8:20 – 8:40
Around 8:30, there is always a short riders briefing, where we will share basic information about the event and repeat the most important things you absolutely need to know. Participation in the riders briefing with the riders is mandatory!!!
9:00 – 18:00
According to the schedule, you will start in one of four performance groups. Try to familiarize yourself with the condition and profile of the track in the first laps, get going and then you can gradually accelerate. Too much motivation can be the reason for unnecessary falls. Of course, everyone rides according to their experience and abilities.
There are 2 more rides in the morning, which are qualifications in the case of race day.
During the lunch break around 13:00, if possible, regrouping takes place according to the times. Therefore, it is important to follow the notice board for the afternoon rides. In the case of a race day, the start of each class will be announced according to the qualifying times. Registration is required for the races.
In the afternoon, there are 3 more rides or 1 ride with a race and an open pitlane (free track without grouping).
18:00
At the end of the one-day or two-day event, you must not forget to return the transponder and collect your personal document from the deposit.
At the end of the first of the two days, an agency draw will be held for interesting prizes for participants who have paid for the entire two-day event.
TECHNICAL REGULATIONS
The motorcycle and the rider's equipment must meet these minimum technical regulations for the safety of the rider and all participants in the rides and races.
If the rider does not meet these regulations, he will be banned from entering the track and participating in the event without compensation.
MOTORCYCLE:
Good technical condition is the basis.
All parts of the motorcycle must be firmly mounted and secured.
All fluids must be secured against spontaneous leakage.
Both brakes must be fully functional and the brake system without significant problem.
Both tires without significant used-up. Tires without road homologation, tires without a pattern - slick and special tires for wet conditions are allowed.
Modifications to the motorcycle aimed at increasing performance are not limited, but must not be at the expense of safety and functionality. In the case of participation of the motorcycle in the race, it must not contradict the class in which the rider starts.
A tuned exhaust pipe or exhaust system is allowed, but it must not contradict the restrictions of individual circuits!
All glass or plastic parts (which risk shattering into pieces) must be dismantled or properly taped with high-quality textile tape over their entire surface. This mainly concerns lights, indicators and rear-view mirrors.
All unnecessary accessories such as cases, tank bags, navigation systems and others must be dismantled.
The transponder holder must be firmly attached, no higher than 120 cm from the ground and should not be covered by metal or carbon parts.
Stickers identifying the performance group, starting number and completed technical inspection must be placed in a clearly visible place on the front of the motorcycle. Ideally on a plexiglass plate, mask or light.
RIDER:
Motorcycle clothing with built-in protectors. We recommend leather and ideally in the one-piece version with knee sliders. Sliders must not have metal parts!
Full-face helmet. Flip-up is also allowed but not recommended.
Road shoes. We recommend a high version.
Leather gloves. We recommend a long version.
Spine protector. We also recommend a chest protector.
All equipment must be in usable condition, properly fastened, intended for use on a motorcycle. They are recommended with maximum protection elements.
The rider must have good control of the motorcycle and must be in excellent physical and mental condition.
The rider must not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other addictive substances.
Riders under 18 years of age must present a written confirmation from their legal guardian, who agrees to the participation of the minor rider, upon request. However, they must always have it with them on the circuit.
PRINCIPLES OF DRIVING ON THE CIRCUIT
When driving on the circuit, it is necessary to follow some basic rules of safe driving on the circuit in order to maintain maximum safety.
Here are the basic principles, the observance of which will ensure your safe participation in the event.
· When entering the track, you must not endanger others. Enter the track in such a way that you do not cross the track with riders who are already riding on the circuit at a much higher speed than you. Their options for avoiding are limited. A simple rule applies - keep to the right/left, wheres the entrance of circuit. The same applies when leaving the track, with the only difference being that as soon as you start to slow down and leave the track, raise your hand clearly so that the riders behind you know that you are about to leave the track.
· Entry and exit from the track is only possible at one place, namely on the start and finish straights. Other exits from the track along the entire length of the circuit are only for emergency exits from the track. Under no circumstances are they used for entering the track. If you leave the track, you must return to the start and finish area via the service road along the track that is used for this purpose.
· Start slowly. Sacrifice one or two laps at the beginning to warm up your motorcycle tires and don't try to break personal records right away. Without warmed up tires, your fast ride will end even faster.
· Only watch what is happening in front of you. What is happening behind you is the responsibility of the riders behind you. Try to ride in a way that makes you as visible as possible to the riders behind you. This means...
· Keep to your chosen line (even if it is not ideal) and do not make sudden and unexpected changes in direction. This can endanger faster riders behind you who are trying to guess your line. They are not prepared to react to sudden changes in direction.
· On the straights, try to maintain speed and do not endanger riders by unexpectedly slowing down for no reason.
· Drive smoothly and predictably in both corners and straights. Speed does not matter. A slow rider who drives smoothly is less dangerous to others than an erratic shooter who frequently changes his driving style.
· In the event of an accident or technical failure, do not stay on the track or in the exit zone, but leave the track or exit zone as quickly as possible. Follow the instructions of the track marshals and go behind the barriers or to another safe place. The circuit staff will ensure that the disabled machine is removed!
· Stopping on the track is strictly prohibited. You endanger other riders by doing so. Stopping is not allowed even if you see an injured rider or want to help remove a crashed machine.
These activities are provided by the medical service and the circuit staff, which are coordinated directly from the race office, which monitors events on the track using a camera system. If you see a crashed motorbike or other obstacle on the track, slow down, raise your hand, do not overtake, safely avoid it and continue to the depot.
· Pay maximum attention to the flag signals of the track marshals and remember the meaning of the basic flags. Follow the instructions and orders of the track marshals. The flag signals are the only means between the track marshals and the riders, so constantly monitor the marshals' posts along the track.
· Only the race track and the approach/exit sections of the track are used for riding, on which you move only in the direction of the track. Other roads in the area have their own rules for the movement of people and the rules for road traffic apply to them. The maximum permitted speed is 20 km/h and in the approach/exit sections of the track 60 km/h. For speeding, you may be fined or prevented from further access to the track. Move only in the public areas of the area, and unless expressly permitted, access to the pit area is prohibited.
Always read the declaration that you sign on the spot carefully and follow it!
FLAG SIGNALING
For communication between the track marshals and the riders on the track, flag signaling is used, which every rider should know.
· Red flag
Signals the stop of the race or practice, everyone must slow down and be ready to stop and return to the pits. Overtaking is prohibited.
· Yellow flag
Signals danger on the track. Overtaking is prohibited from the yellow flag to the track marshal's station, where the green flag is already hanging. It is used in several variations:
1. One moving flag means danger on the track. Slow down, do not overtake, be ready to change direction.
2. Two flags in motion indicate a major obstacle on the track. Slow down, do not overtake, and be prepared to stop if necessary.
3. The flag is displayed at the marshal's post directly in front of the danger area.
· Yellow flag with red stripes
When stationary, it informs the riders that the track grip has deteriorated in the area behind the flag due to the presence of oil or water, for example.
· Blue flag
When moving, it informs the rider will be overtaken by a faster rider. When the flag is displayed at the exit from the pits, it signals the rider entering the track that a faster rider is approaching along the track.
· White flag
There is an ambulance or other vehicle on the track. Overtaking is prohibited unless it is a much slower rider.
· Green flag
The track is clear again. It is used at the marshal's posts immediately after an accident that has required the use of one or more yellow flags.
· Black flag
Shown at the starting line together with the starting number. The rider must stop in the pits or at a designated place on the next lap. If the rider does not react for any reason, the flag will not be shown for more than four consecutive laps.
· Black flag with orange stripe
The flag is shown together with the starting number of a rider who has a mechanical problem that endangers him or others and means that he must stop in the pits on the next lap.
When the mechanical problem has been resolved to the satisfaction of the Chief Technical Scrutineer, the rider may continue the race.
· Checkered flag
Shown in motion at the finish line and signifies the end of a practice or race.
· White flag with a diagonal red cross
Flag displayed at rest at the marshals' posts. Indicates raindrops on a section of the track.
